The Wabakimi Project is grateful to those who generously contribute information about the canoe routes that they have travelled in Wabakimi Provincial Park and on the adjacent Crown lands. Their support helps extend the scope of efforts to explore and document these remote, wilderness routes.

These individuals plan and outfit their own trips, choose their own routes and provide post-trip information about the condition of portages and campsites, hazards and obstacles and signs of recent human activity they encounter during their travels. Some even undertake to explore and document portage trails and clean campsites as required.

The Wabakimi Project acknowledges the invaluable contributions of these individuals and invites others to support this worthwhile effort. Contact us to learn how to participate in this exciting aspect of our program.
